My Queen and half my Princesses

Sometimes I feel so truly blessed it hurts.  Its not about the bling bling or the shiny toys and gadgets.  Although I do like my tech toys.  Sorry, back to the point.  If you stop and think about it... what do we work so hard for every day?  It should be our family.

Queen and half my Princesses

Here is a picture of my Queen Paola and half of my princesses (Megan).  Well anyways, I come home soooooo tired sometimes.  And sometimes in a grouchy mood.  But as soon as I walk through that door, my kids cheer me up.  They all come running and hug me, yelling "Daddy's Home!".  Even Sophia comes running yelling "daddy!"

So I work so hard to give them what they need/want, but in the end what they want/need is my time.  I guess I just have to keep reminding myself that every day.

Mastering the Puzzle

To become one of the worlds greatest puzzle masters takes a lot of things.  Skill ... a Keen eye....and an iron will!

Puzzle Time

...and I guess it does not hurt if the puzzle only has three pieces.  Well I guess its a start.

New Doll for Megan

So a couple of weeks ago the kids were all about playing with their toys and such, when a brilliant idea overpowered Megan.  Why was she wasting all these times playing with these lifeless dolls, when she had a real live walking talking baby sister doll?

Princess Sophia

Megan tried a few of her princess outfits on her to see how she would look.  And then she showed her of to her family.  The odd part is that Sophia did not mind her older sister dressing her up at all...

Happy Princess

I know that I would probably have some issues if Megan asked me to put on the princess outfits......again....

Oh Where Has Thy Been

I am sorry that I have not been posting as much as normal.  Let me tell you why.... Two weeks ago I started getting up earlier than normal.... so that I could go to work earlier.  Sure I am walking around like a zombie... but hopefully I will get used to it before too long.

Flowers that would not die

The end goal is so that I can spend more time at home.  Sounds very good in theory... but the problem is that the kids wear me out even more.... and I have to try to go to sleep early.... and the cycle starts all over.

Above is a picture of some flowers I got for Paola.... she deserves them... and so much more for all the hard work she puts into raising our kids..... but these are no ordinary flowers.

Flowers

They seem to not want to die..... more than that... they were a bit creepy.... Maybe they have been genetically enhanced, or chemically injected with something.  But it was getting a bit scary how long these were lasting....   It seemed unnatural.

BDay Bash

A couple of weeks ago, we got a chance to see some friends and enjoy a birthday party.  It was a lot of fun seeing all the kids run around like crazed candy powered destruction bots... afterwords some of us got a chance to go out to dinner (where there was also a kids playground)....

Yippity!!

Most battles at home are not over territorial despuits.... or trade agreements.  Most of the battles at home are over who gets to watch their favorite show...

Huddle

...I guess all is fair in love and war.  But if you don't get your way with the remote... you might as well go get the phone and call the grand parents.   Sophia knows that if she can reach the grandparents, they may be able to help.

Phone Home

....With help on the way... what are the kids to do..... here is one idea.

Slide

I had been wondering why the toilet paper roles are always so squished.... well if you look closely, it turns out that Matthew has been using the packs of toilet paper rolls as a sled to go down the stairs....at some point I think I am going to have to have a talk with him on proper in house sled use....

Bear and Snake

If you could not tell, one of Megan's favorite colors is pink.  She says that pink is the color for a princess.  Here she is ready for school.  This would be a very special day filled with animals.

Megan going to school

...and by animals, I mean that Megan made a bear at school.  Yes a bit frightening, but we must all face our fears.

Megan and the bear

Meanwhile, Sophia was being attacked by a giant snake monster.... a vary rare but colorful species of toothless snake!

Sophia and the Snake

Look at the fear in her eyes.... no one wants to be eaten by that crazy snake.... so its time to call in the hero.  Well ok, maybe the hero in training.  Matthew to the rescue!

Mathew saves the day

The battle was fierce and lasted a long time.  Almost five whole minutes.  But in the end the kids escaped and all was good.

Crazy Matthew

The only thing that scares me now is that crazed look on Matthews face.... like I am next!
